what is exercise physiology
Welcome to Matt Rayner Exercise Physiology, a private studio dedicated to providing tailored exercise programs based on your individual goals. Our approach begins with a comprehensive initial session. This involves assessing movement patterns, mobility and baseline strength measures using VALD Forceplates, while considering previous training and medical history. This information forms the foundation for developing your program, progressively increasing over time to help you achieve your desired fitness objectives.

Following the initial session, you are prescribed your tailored exercise program, conveniently accessed via an app or email link. This program can be home-based or gym-based, depending on your personal preference and access to equipment. You are provided ongoing support, helping to increase motivation and adherence.

Following your initial session we can discuss frequency of sessions moving forward. This can range from weekly to monthly sessions. These review sessions give us a chance to discuss current exercises, provide program variety & use Forceplates to monitor progress through objective feedback (i.e how your are tracking relative to your baseline measures and compared to age/gender normative data).
